Visiting Chaiiwala SFU: we're on University High Street in UniverCity, the neighbourhood next to Simon Fraser University's Burnaby campus at the top of Burnaby Mountain. Students and staff can walk over from the academic quadrangle, and the hill is served by buses from the SFU transit exchange, including the R5 Hastings RapidBus and the 145 from Production Way–University SkyTrain Station. The karak chai has that familiar, desi warmth to it, not overly fancy, just satisfying. It's one of those places you don't overthink. A solid spot for chai lovers who enjoy simple moments done right.
I tried aloo tikki chaat here and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it — a must try. The staff was very friendly, and the food service was really good and fast.
